M.R. & B.W.R. Grade

MIECO Plywood

Available in M.R. Grade and B.W.R. Grade, manufactured and tested as per IS 1734 (Parts 1 to 20):1983.

M.R. Grade Plywood

An enhanced version of conventional commercial plywood, bonded with melamine urea formaldehyde (MUF) resin. Provides sufficient strength to resist warm water for up to 8 hours. Suitable for interior painting, lamination, veneering, and creative furniture applications.

B.W.R. Grade Plywood

Bonded with superior-grade phenol formaldehyde (PF) resin, making it 108 hours boiling-water resistant at 100°C. Designed to withstand climatic variations and extreme weather changes, with stress-relieving measures ensuring it remains warp-free and dimensionally stable.

100% Solid Core

Block Board

A combination of imported pine and Gurjan wood. The frame consists of 100% seasoned pine wood with 3-inch-wide stiles and fillers (max 30mm width).

Features a 2.50mm Gurjan core/cross-band and a 0.50mm Gurjan face veneer bonded with superior-grade synthetic resin (IS 848:1974). Pressed under high temperature and pressure for high mechanical strength, dimensional stability, and excellent insulation.

Weather-resistant, borer and termite resistant, and designed not to twist under woodworking conditions. Edges are specially sanded to reveal the natural pine grain.

Interior Grade

Bonded with MUF resin. Resists warm water up to 8 hours.

Exterior Grade

Bonded with PF resin. 108 hours boiling-water resistance at 100°C.

Dimensionally Stable Core

Flush Doors

Designed for durability and dimensional stability. Face veneers and cross-bands are made from selected imported hardwood timber, uniformly dried.

Kiln-seasoned stiles and rails made from 100% imported pine wood are preservative-treated for natural durability. Superior-grade PF resin provides 100% boiling-water-proof bonding.

Pressed under high temperature and pressure, each door is finished to exacting tolerances. Regular tests are carried out as per IS 4020 (Parts 1 to 16): 1998.

Reusable Formwork

Shuttering Plywood

Manufactured as per IS 4990:1993. Preservative-treated through a vacuum pressure impregnation process (IS 5539:1969) using copper chrome arsenic composition (retention ≥ 12 kg/m³).

Designed to be repeatedly reused. The exact reuse value depends directly on proper handling, stripping, and storage.
